If that's not bad enough, there are some (mostly) bolt on sliders for sale too. $250 I believe.

What do mean "can of worms" it's a simple bolt on which will make your truck look better.
    And make it deer proof.

I couldn't stop at just a bumper. I was on doing skids and sliders first. Then doing bumpers once I am ready to upgrade suspension to support the weight. I just started a new job today that pays a bit better to fund what I want to do to the truck.

For that price, I would start with the bumper which is not that heavy.
Then save for the sus. and skids.

Can anyone pick the bumper up for me and I’ll pay you some extra money for your troubles. And pick it up later on this summer?

I'm heading to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes for the 4th. Just rebuilt the lower control arms re-valved the shocks and put in new springs.

I always try to get a group to go or meet up but it's hard to set up.
There is a group doing a Toyota take over in August at the dunes also..

I'm in a similar situation in the next year or so. Do most powder coat places do prep or do I need to find a medium blaster too?

In Fond du Lac there's a place called Empire Powder Coating. I was told they did a good job.

In kenosha the place that did mine was the blast shop.
I feel like they did a great job on my bumper.

Google shows three. I thinking of having All-Color in Oregon do my rear bumper and tow package as Toyota doesn’t replace those in a frame swap and they are in rough shape. I took the rear bumper off a couple years ago and dipped it but it’s still rough.

Not really free but the national forests up north, if you buy a tag you can camp anywhere you like for the year on the tag. Trails are sadly lacking maybe someone else has trail info.

I'm working up in Turtle Lake for a couple days, anyone know if there is anything around the area to get the truck off some pavement, forest service roads or anything. Doesn't need to be anything hardcore just something to do when I get done with work...Just got my '18 TRDOR back from dealership after month and half dealing with electrical issues...Kind of anxious to get out and play!

I would think there should be some dirt roads, don't know if there are any forest roads in that area. I know the TWAT runs buy there, from Black river to Sand Bay... The Nicolet National Forest has tame trails in that area.
