Kinda kicking myself for not doing rear springs when I did everything else.
    O well live and learn.

Don't feel too bad, I'm having doubts about being over-sprung and thinking I should have gone stage 1. Expensive mistake if you get it wrong. Better to take your time exhaustively researching to find the best leaf pack for your configuration.

Well, don't panic yet. It probably takes a few thousand miles to really settle them in.

Now, I'm talking out of my ass a bit, because I don't really know about Taco leaf options. But, I have heavy springs on the 4Runner, and they did seem to mellow out over time. Hoping for a similar result for you. :)

Oh no doubt that is my hope as well. I'm going to load the piss out of it to help encourage them to work their magic.

You aren't wrong but also this is my DD. Also I don't have a mullet, say "yee yee", or fancy myself as relative to Bo and/or Luke Duke.

You know you can always take one or two leafs out if it doesn't soften a little.

Wish I went with Deaver instead of All-Pro again. Rear end has a pretty decent lean and it's driving me crazy

So far my issue is not how stiff/firm it is but more how tall it is. I'm waiting to take "real" measurements until I fix my outstanding issues but it's higher than I expected. That being said I think it is actually the correct height as specified by the manufacturers. Just shocked how much of a monster truck it is right now and I didn't expect that. Shows how badly my OE leafs were sagged, it's like a 5" difference all at once.

Way ahead of you, my friend. I had old tube sand bags from my first winter on badly worn out BFG KO2s that were scary with no weight in the bed. Threw those in for an instant 200-300lbs of ballast. Should expedite break-in.

I was originally going to use Alcan, All-Pro, or the Icon RXT but then I saw some post (maybe written by Archive but can't remember) on how the All-Pro pack design is wrong at the shackle end. Decided I would spend the money once and just be done if that is even a real thing. My initial thought on the Deavers? Probably worth the money like everyone says but their paint job looks like a blind kid did it with the non-dominant hand. That's my only complaint, everything else is legit.

Better you didn't get them. Bought a brand new set and there's at least a 1 1/2 inch or slightly more difference on either side of the bed. The front is level at least. And they're not side specific either. I'm getting the stage 3 deavers next time

So much work writing up all this stuff. Here's the front, details all in the build thread.

Whenever I can afford to completely swap out my suspension that's what I'm gonna do maybe or just get the dobinson leaf springs when I order their shocks
My truck needs it just to carry my fat ass. Also the stage 3s are actually side specific
