I used to go to the parade every year but it kind of lost its fun for me after they stopped bringing the race trucks down the main highway back to the track. It was my favorite part to sit in the back of my truck and have them hammer it in front of me as they leave.
You definitely should give it a shot, it's like the Daytona 500 of off-road. Little town of like 3000 swells to like 60,000 it's pretty crazy.

Whether you are going to spring run or Fall run Sunday is always the day with the best racing. They always end the day with a race of the two-wheel drive versus the four-wheel drive trucks with the two-wheel drive getting a head start. So you get the whole full schedule of good races plus that bonus one.

They drive everything into town and back, takes like an hour to get them all back because there is so many now.

Crandon has population of 1920 and usually swells to 50 to 55k for the fall race.

If your going to go you should plan for the whole wknd so you can get the whole experiance.

And you have to plan ahead cause campsites go fast.

Chemical Guys Fabric Clean + a white bristled drill brush (they are color coded and stiffer than yellow bristles usually). If it’s stinkier than that, you can try one of them small Bissell hot water vacuum cleaner things - not the cheapest but effective. If it’s still stinky look to see if a local car dealer will let you use an ozone machine.

I know they still bring them downtown, but they don't take hwy 8 when they leave anymore like they used to. Or at least they didn't, that's why I stopped going.

So I was offered 37k for my 21 with 30k on it and by the time I trade in it will have 40k. What’s your guys thoughts on the deal? Looks really good to me. The only options tommy 21 has is the led headlights. The 22 will have the led lights, blackout kit, and blind spot.

That track was a lot of fun. You were flat out from start all the way to the gravel pit. Only lifting briefly on the first two jumps. An old racing buddy and I are thinking of riding up for a day for the fall run, see the few guys that are still racing.

The pipeline and surrounding area has plenty of mud. Get the Lakewood/Laona district MVUM from the USDA website, and explore away! :)

We did a spring fishing trip at arbor Vita for 2 years probably about 15 years ago now. Great area!

    Jealousy is an ugly thing.

Odor Ban. Cheap, available at home improvement stores, and worked great for me when the ex would smoke in my Tacoma.

It leaves it's own scent, but it fades away.

Seems like an alright deal if the new one is the same package + more options

if thinking about it, nows the time to do it with how trade values are

Ah, another man of culture - you clearly have the best taste.

Simple scenario, imo. If you trade in, you'll be selling high...but if you buy another vehicle, chances are you'll be buying high too, so it's awash. If you don't replace it with another vehicle or don't need to, then it's an actual win.

Personally, I like to buy vehicles and keep them for a long durarion of time, assuming something doesn't go catastrophically wrong. Makes for a better long term financial outlook too.

Very true. I bought my '15 in '20 because it had already gone through the largest depreciation hit, and I fully expect it to last me a decade at minimum and possibly longer. When I started looking at used trucks, I kept seeing extremely high mileage (>300k) Tacomas for sale at far higher prices than comparatively lower mileage trucks from all other brands. That pretty much made up my mind to go with a used Tacoma as a long term ride.
