Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I used to have a job that was 3 - 12's, rotated MTW ThFS SMT(nights) WThF (nights). Every 8 weeks you had a week off but on the other end, you would have a 36 hr weekend. Definitely had its Pros and Cons. Paid well too and had 5 weeks of vacation...

I've been working 4 10's for many years and like it very much, but can confirm after 5-6 hours productivity drops like a rock.

One of the best schedules I ever had was 4 10's. I got off work around 3:00 Sunday. Took off and was back by 10:00 Thursday morning bright eyed and bushy tailed for work. Mini vacation every week!

Semi self-empoyed, I do some automation programming jobs on the side throughout the year. But you're right if it was my sole source of income I'd look at it differently. Now it just goes to truck parts and retirement funds. Even at that it's hard to be effective over 6 hours in front of a computer.

Well, I've been self employed for most of my life. At age 61, my effectiveness at work diminished after idk, say 10am?
Things were different when I was younger and hungrier.
