Wish Buyers Had Option to order

If I show you the 2023 Tacoma Off Road I bought 2 weeks ago with leather seats and no sunroof would you agree to stop posting?

 

I’m also 6’4” with a sunroof and have no headroom issues. So unless you have a 26” inseam and a torso that’s 44” tall you won’t have issues.
Can’t speak to car seats, momma told me children are the devil and cost too much money.

What manufacturer DOES NOT package stuff? I assume you have purchased vehicles? Want MT, need to get this. Need that leather color, stuck with these. Don't want push start, need this package - etc. Maybe in high end vehicles like Porsche, Rolls, etc..., but were talking mass produced Toyotas. ALL massed produced do this, streamline manufacturing. WTF man .

LMAO - Fools can't even come up with another vehicle manufacturer who forces car, truck, EV buyers to buy both leather seats and sun roof in same package. Sad when you ask for just one manufacturer that "hard balls" new car buyers into paying for a sun roof and leather seats at the same time.

Time to EAT humble pie guys and realize Toyota is the only vehicle manufacturer in the world - who says, "you want a sun roof then you got to swallow leather seats with it". And vice-versa. Talk about screwing the buying customer.

 

Nissan Frontier requires buyers to get PRO Premium package if they want a sunroof ($2,790 package price).
Nissan Titan requires buyers to get climate controlled seats if they want a sunroof ($1,490 package price).

So maybe it's a Japanese truck thing?

Edit:
To add the Hyundai Santa Cruz requires you to add the Activity Package for $3,660 to get the moonroof (and before you say it's not a truck it'll tow 5,000 lbs).

You should try being a Manual Transmission fan, all the Manufacturers fuck you over and either force or take away options because they know you will take what they offer.

 

Most manufacturers in the past on certain models, in order to get leather you’ve had to get a package that also had the sunroof. This isn’t something new that Toyota just came up with.

Also in the last couple of years Toyota let buyers get leather without the package that has the sunroof.

While I don’t believe the packages have been released for the 4th gens yet, they very well may continue where they left off allowing leather to be purchased without buying a package that includes a sunroof. The only way you’ll find out though is to sit back, shut your yap and wait and see

 

Sound logic. Previous poster(s) claimed you could not buy one (leather seats) without buying the other (sun roof). I'm just the relaying messenger. But if Toyota was smart they'd offer both options separate and then make more money off future truck (option) sales. Someone might have finances to purchase a 2024 tacoma with leather seats. But not the finances to purchase new truck along with (both) leather seats and sunroof. Both those options I would classify as (highly wanted) and also (highly expensive).
