so how do we know if the alignment shop knows what theyre doing to set the caster correctly?

I am looking into the same UCAs

I would like to make sure they do it right.

    They will know.

You, the customer, will get a report telling you what they did with pre and post alignment numbers.

I like Firestone because I have their lifetime alignment service.

I think the only time there really is an issue is when you've got LR UCAs on the truck because the LR UCAs have their own special adjustment on the UCA. If the alignment shop doesn't understand how to do the adjustment on the LR UCA (or you don't do it for them in advance) then they won't have much luck getting a good alignment using the LCA adjustments alone.

For all these other UCAs (TC, Camburg, JBA) the upper UCA has no adjustment on it - rather these UCAs have essentially a fixed adjustment compared to the stock UCAs that gives you about 2* more caster to play with in lifted configurations. So with these UCAs the alignment procedure for the alignment shop is just like a stock truck in which they adjust the cams on the LCA only and they will have no issues doing it.

thats the answer i was looking for.

no wonder my alignment shop always takes forever to adjust my LR UCAs.

all the others have the extra room built into them w out you having to adjust

can anyone recommend these JBA UCA's for an FN Five Star Rim (-25mm offset) with a 275 or 285 tire? ... I'm looking to do an OME 2.5" lift with this wheel setup and am torn between either these JBA's or L.R... just throwing it out there, thx
