How long could you realistically live out of it? You can't add anything to it, just assume you can bring food/water into it. That's IT.

I wouldn't last very long. I have a shell but no padding/bed mat or emergency supplies to speak of other than a flashlight. Would be tough. Hmmmmm

Not very long. All I have is a basic first aid kit behind the seat and a shovel under the toolbox. No pad or anything. I do have an air pump though if I can drive by someone's pool and pick up a small float.

Yall are funny. You don't need a pad or bed mat to survive. I've spent many nights sleeping in the seat.

I got a tent and air mattress and a 5 gallon jug of water. That helps right?

A very long time. Keep rope, hatchet, knife, LED flashlight, first aid kit, blanket, ratchet straps, duct tape, strike anywhere matches, 5'x10' tarp and leather gloves lined with wool in it at all times. Truck has a Bestop on it and the floor of the bed is carpeted to keep my stuff from moving. I sleep in the back whenever I go camping.

As I read this I wonder if I am preparing for apocalypse or hiding a body...

This reminds me, I've got four ratchet straps, two bungee cords, knife, flashlight and a few screwdrivers as well.

I don't have a bestop, but I have everything else and more. Not because I'm prepping for anything, just random stuff that I haven't cleaned out.

food and water ? nothing else ? than what is inside it at this very moment ?

(my EDC bag is always there, so I have an advantage)

I could survive 120 deg heat indefinitely and -80F cold indefinitely.

assuming I run out of gas and the tacoma is simply a box I live in, yep, probably last 50 years.

If it's for survival then my answer is until I die.

So if I can bring food and water into it id say Id last a long time. Especially if i had a few boxes of MREs and a few water cans.

All you really need is food and water to survive. Its also weather dependent though.
