I think I saw your truck. I’m parked at the abandoned car wash. I’m wondering if we should pick a new place or just park somewhere else?

Hey man, it's all good. It was nice to get out of my house and have a meeting with the "Steve's" (insert office space meme)

We'll have to do it again at another location sometime.

    Hello everyone,
I currently live in San Diego and am deciding to move to buffalo area soon. It’s where all my family lives. Quick question in San Diego I could get away with having 2wd because of the off-roading I did I could handle it. In buffalo will my truck struggle being 2wd in snow conditions? I’m new to the snow thing lol.

With a little bit of weight in the back and some good snow tires you'll be able to get through most stuff just fine. That being said, 4WD is definitely nice to have, especially if you need to get to remote spots in the winter or have to get to work no matter what.

Thanks man! Sounds like I’ll see how the first winter goes and then decide!

Limited slip will make it bearable, and undercoat the frame and body

The best undercoat I've found is Krown, and I've tried a few different places. I went to Superior Auto in Hamburg, they apply Krown and did a great job. It leaves a light coat of oil and it lasts pretty long

Rustop also works. It's a little heavier oil and penetrating. Turned in a 1998 full size dodge with NO rust to get a 2008 tacoma. Turned in the08 to get an 18. Also NO rust after using rustop. South of the city the area gets 2x the snow the city does. Roads get closed due to snow. Forget 2 wheel drive.it can be done but why go through the hassle of I can't get anywhere today, the truck won't go and girls are giving me the finger for blocking the road,I'm stuck again......

Honestly 2WD trucks are almost useless 4-5 months of the year in Buffalo. I would sell the truck out there where the market value is higher and then buy one here where they sell for less. Get 4WD and good tires/snow tires and you’ll be much happier.

I bought 265/70-17 for my Sequoia and those were made in Thailand. Got anything 32" tall and 17" rim? I'd like to get a new spare AT3W, I'd be ok with 235/80-17 or 255/75-17 or 245/75-17

    Thanks, Eric

That's pretty cool of you to offer Lawfarin, I didn't even know that there was a plant in Buffalo. Where about is it? I was planning on trying the Wildpeaks as my next tire after seeing all the good reviews on TW.

The plant is located right off the 190. Just south of Grand Island.

What department are you in Larry?
