Took the truck through the car wash today for a seal test and no fogging at all. Didn't have to use any silicone or extra window weld, just used the factory sealant. I think I got lucky with that.

TAKE YOUR TIME when you do it. Usually on projects I start to rush at the end because I get anxious but I made sure I took my time on this and it came out amazing. Of course all the forums on here helped a ton. But if you take your time and read the instructions carefully on the first light the 2nd light will be a breeze. If I wouldn't be messing up anyone else's sales I would consider starting to do this for people but I do not want to step on anyone's toes here as I am still kinda new.

Here's my cutoff right now. Still needs to be adjusted a little bit, but it's pretty close.

About 25 ft. Give or take. I aimed them on a different wall but, I didn't have my camera so I snapped a picture in my driveway. It's not completely level.

So i used some wire taps to hook up my ccfl's AND my strip lights to the stock parking lights wires. Do you think this is too much to be spliced in, should i re-wire them to their own fuse? How much power do both of those pull, am i going to melt something or worse? Let me hear what you think. (I was running out of time when i did it, but i wanted to get everything hooked up so i spliced them).

i avoided splicing alltogether... instead i ran an add-a-fuse to the parking lights fuse and ran the negative wire directly to the battery... no splicing needed.. just a bit of work to get thru the firewall... (metal shirt hanger will do the trick)

Should i be alright for a few days until i get the time to run some new wires? You think i could run both the ccfl's and the strip lights to an add a fuse on the parking light fuse slot?

I know I want to remove the splices, but like i said i wanted to get everything up and running. I just wanted to be sure i am not going to "cook" anything for a few days until i can find the time to do it the right way. My 5 yr. old and 2 yr. old require alot of attention lol.
