When I drive, I feel dizzy looking into it. The left mirror vibrates like crazy. I've tightened the screws in the bottom of the housing, but it's got to be the glass itself. Any way to tighten that up? It's not ready to fall out or anything. And it's never been hit.

Suggestions? Or has anyone fixed theirs?

are they aftermarket mirrors? is just the glass shaking or the entire mirror housing?

All OEM, never been touched or replaced. It appears to be just the glass mirror bouncing around. The housing itself is nice and tight- you can smack it and it doesn't move.

You really have to crank on those screws under the plastic tabs. My passenger one keeps getting loose. I quit folding them in because the back and forth motion seems to loosen it too much.

i think the mirror is affixed to the mounting plate with glue, tug out on the mirror glass and see if it comes right off in your hands. this will be better than it falling off by itself on the road. then stick it back on with 3m tape. if the glass is still on there good, search how to remove the mirror glass and remove the mirror glass as an assembly (with its back piece that plugs into the adjuster). its pretty easy.

shaking mirror is one of my pet peeves, so distracting, i feel your pain!

Look in the search feature for driver side mirror loose. There's some good hints there.

I did the search and kept finding posts about the screws underneath the housing. B737, I think that's my next move when it's not -9 degrees out.
