Any driveline experts in here? I just got my truck back from Toyota for the frame replacement. Before I took it in it would do this on very hard acceleration, now it does it pulling out of a stop light. The carrier bearing is offset, one side 1.25" to mounts and the other side 2" to mounts. Idk which side was down before but Toyota installed it with the 1.25" side down. I just flipped it and it's better but like I said it did this before just not as bad. I probably need to get an angle finder.. 160k miles.

i work at the dealer and when you get a new frame they replace the leaf springs and some are softer then others and that will cause the pinion angle to change on accel and cause a vib

Thanks for your input. Same leaf pack as my truck is lifted and requested that the new pack was put in the bed. I will be rebuilding my leaf pack with the new one.

It looks like the differential has an oil leak also. Kind of odd that it is coming from the top... Maybe they spilled the oil when filling...

Did you check the u-joints? It could be the carrier bearing, but my truck does not have one so I have not had to deal with issues from one yet

Yea that's from the fitting that ECGS put in for the locker. I have the air line disconnected and a cap over it. That's another issue..oil in the air tank.
It's hitting all kinds of stuff lol.

I had this problem after frame recall. For me, it was caused by the goons that did the install. They had the rear axle dog-legged to one side. The alignment shop loosened the u-bolts and pushed it back into spec. Smooth now that everything is aligned.

2nd gen? How did they even? The spring pins/bolt lines up the axle to the springs.

Your guess is as good as mine. I was watching when they did it. Thing just popped right back into place. Must have not been seated well or something. Techs probably just rushing through the job.
