Anyone else notice the slightest word variation seems to "turn on wifi." Even if the radio DJ mentions a word starting with the letter "T" or "turn up the volume" wifi turns on. :annoyed:

I'm thinking about removing it and going back to the oem rearview mirror.

I bought the 840s. Not as many features. But it keeps not liking the sd card…. Gets in the way of the visor, just a little. I figure the sd card is just shitty,

I get the "reformat the SD card" briefly at almost every start up. Same issue with blocking the visor from folding down completely.

That’s worrisome. Have you tried 4h or continuous since or just leave on ignition mode?

I've decided to remove my G900Pro and sell it. I prefer having the factory mirror and will be getting a different camera setup. Possibly the Wolfbox mini X5 or a Viofo.

If it wasn't screwed down to the mount I would have thrown it out the window by now. I'm just too lazy to remove it.

I have a G900 Pro headed my way and I’m looking for the cleanest install. I currently have the Garmin Mini Dashcam 2 with a Dongar adapter mounted to my 2022 TRD OR 4x4
Q1: will the Dongar adapter provide the right power? I don’t want 24hr power
Q2: is there a proper mount for the rear camera going to the back window?
Q3: I plan to use the Wolfbox bracket to mount the screen directly, if I remove my stock mirror won’t there be an extra plug hanging there?

    TIA

Can you share/explain a little more about how you mounted the rear camera? Did you bolt it through the headliner?

I used a license plate holder and shoved that in the headliner.

I’m using one of these. It’s centered above the back window but the headliner has no fasteners in that area so it shakes a little in certain circumstances. Like when the factory JBL sub is doing its thing lol. I’ve been meaning to move it over to either side of the rear window slider because the headliner has less play there.

If you do it add foam tape to both sides so it doesn’t shift and to keep it from scratching the roof.

Hey dudes, I’ve been looking through this thread and a couple videos but can’t find anything on visor interference. I saw maybe one comment that said it limits how far you can fold the visor out when this is installed

So just seeing if anyone can chime in. I’m assuming if you mount it on top of the OEM mirror it will get in the way, and possibly be fine if it’s direct mounted with the asheling bracket.

That has been my experience. OEM mirror mount blocked the visor but it's fine with the OEM style mounts.

I have the direct mounted version. If you pull the visor down it will touch the mirror by about an inch. You can however maneuver the visor around the mirror to touch the windshield. Kinda annoying, if the mirror was a little smaller it would be perfect.

I didn't use the rubber bands. I bolted it directly to the glass mount. The visor will not fold down without hitting the wolfbox.
