Plus, ick, can you even imagine getting naked in front of each other? I've known you so long, you're more like a brother that I've drunkenly made out with twice and never mentioned again. It'd be way too weird. And if we did, then whenever you'd come shopping with me, or go to one of my performances or charity events, or take me for ice cream when I've had a bad day at work, you'd be looking at me like, "I've seen her breasts." God, I can't think of anything more awkward that that.

Anyway, you would totally hate me as your girlfriend. I'd be all needy and dramatic and slowly growing to love you. If I was your girlfriend, I would never be able to tell you all about the other asshole guys I date and pretend I don't see how much it crushes you. Let's never lose that. That's what makes us us.
Don't worry. You're so funny and smart and amazing, any girl but me would be lucky to date you. You'll find someone, I know it. Heres the thing. She is probably trying to play hard to get and act these weird ways just to make sure your that into her.
What she wants is to make sure she isnt making a fool out of herself liking you when you dont like her back.
Dont talk to other women to make her jealous cause then she would think you do that all the time.

You can't figure out all of them, but you can get used to a certain type. The type you're dealing with is called the teaser, or user. She doesn't like you. If she did she would get nervous around you, do anything you asked, and make it known that she wants a stake in your claim. No, she doesn't like you enough to date, but since you're nice guy she'll string you along so she can use the friendship as a emotional or supportive crutch, all the while you're sitting there pining for her touch and a kind word. She knows how you feel. She knew from the first day you met. She also knows that she'll never do a damn thing with you romantically. Don't just back off for a while, leave her in your dust. You're time is better spent with women that can devote 100% to you, not these measly crumbs that she's giving you.
