Wondering about East Coast deliverys

Picked mine up today from Mike Johnson's Toyota in Hickory, NC. TRD Sport 4x4 Silver Metallic! I'm loving it!!

 

My expected delivery date was 10/6 and I got it today.

 

Where in PA are you? What dealer? I have been dealing with Del in Thorndale PA.

 

Congrats, looks great! Can you tell me if your VIN starts with a 3 or 5, and did your dealer get any update before it just showed up? I'm patiently waiting on a delivery to VA Beach. Also what was the build date?

 

VIN starts with a 5 and my dealer was not aware it would arrive early. They only received one new Tacoma on the truck, but they are expecting more in October.

 

Sorry, I never knew the build date, I went in an ordered it the last week in August expecting to get it on 10/6.

Talked to the local dealership here in Columbus, GA and they are set to have them in by the end of September.

 

All the dealerships in Alabama that I have contacted are saying 2-3 more weeks. I did however see a white DCSB trd sport in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Not at a dealership, was just driving around.

 

Makes sense - how much would the leather if the dealer installed on the TRD OR.

 

Just received word that the dealership's allocation request was accepted for my blue Limited. Delivery, per them, is "late October/early November." Pretty excited!

 

Close to $2000 probably Maybe $1500,,

I received my VIN number yesterday....due 14 October.

 

I'm in the Allentown area, and i ordered from Krause Toyota.

 

Frederick MD has one 4 door silver SR 4cyl. Saw it on the website and confirmed with a salesman. I have NOT seen it in person.

 

Yea, and with 50 miles on the engine they'll rev it up to 7000 rpms to "check out the torque curve".

 

Toy of Stamford has a few listed on Cars.com

 

I don't trust Cars.com. Last week Cars.com had a Toyota of Hackensack (NJ) listing one '16 Taco. When I got to the dealer the sales guys told me there wasn't any new Tacos and they don't expect them until late October. The service manager over heard us and said there was in fact a '16 there that just came in....I walked the lot with him, but we could not find the truck. He was frustrated too, because they had paper work that the truck should be there....but it wasn't.

The next day the dealer called me to see how my visit went. I told him I wanted to see the '16 Taco...he had no idea what I was talking about...put me on hold, a salesman came on the line and told me they will arrive late October/earlier November. LOL

I'm not bashing Cars.com, because the dealer did have some information that a '16 was suppose to be there, but that was last week, and it's still not there.

 

On their website also. I am waiting for Milford to get one and go over there.

 

Just called them and am hopefully test driving a 2016 BBP TRD OR today or tomorrow. Will have to order one if I want any package though
