I have a 2022 Tacoma and I upgraded the Tires to 285-70-17, the spare is a 265-70-16. It's my spare, I'm planning to replace it, but in the mean time, if I got a flat, would this be ok to use to get me to a tire shop. I am also wondering if there is a certain spot I should put the spare, since it is smaller, front or rear? Thanks for any advice and hoping I won't need it haha.

Should be no issues getting you home, or to the tire shop. Tires turn at different speeds during normal driving anyway, think about cornering

That is a pretty big difference, personally I would put it on the front and stay out of 4 wheel drive on any hard surface obviously.
