Won't come out of 4 wheel drive? Help!

    cold air intake, body lift, suspension lift.
    yeah its pretty nice... i dont have any problems except getting it out of 4wd... and normally all ive got to do is toss it in reverse and let it roll back a couple inches and it pops out... and the other problem i have is getting it to stay in 4low... the t-case shifter likes to pop back into the neutral position when im wheelin...

    I know this is an old thread, but I searched like I'm suppose to :D

    Anyhow, how on earth can a dealer charge 400$ plus to diagnose?? They should be able to figure it out in a half an hour. Sounds like they did FOUR HOURS!! of testing until they figured it out....

    That's why I avoid dealers, they should be the best, but they aren't.

    We just dropped off dads car for an electrical issue I could not hunt down (1st time in 35 years) so we sent it to Buick. 120$ to diagnose, that's an hour, and then the cost of parts. Very fair, but when I read posts like this, it just makes me want to avoid the dealer as much as possible...
