I've tried searching everywhere for this issue but cannot find a solution. If I have to brake hard on the highway from maybe 65mph to 40mph, my Tacoma will not shift from 3rd to 4th afterwards. It will rev all the way to redline in 3rd gear but will not shift (truck will be at around 75mph at redline, I'm guessing this is 3rd gear). I can shut the truck off at a gas station for 5-10 min and then start driving again and sometimes it goes back to normal shifting. This only happens from 3rd to 4th gear and works fine at lower speeds. Any thoughts? Replace transmission fluid to see if that helps at all? 2008 v6 off-road
