    I try and get mine done before black fly season or it's just miserable work. If you have your own splitter it's easier to get ahead a little at a time.

    I use a splitting maul, which means the wood has to be dry on the outside or you get slippery hands. :notsure:

    Still raining here. I feel like I'm living in the PNW.
    Every time it stops raining, I have so many normal outdoors chores to catch up on that by the time I've finished with them and can start splitting it's started raining again. :frusty:

    I have 3 of their saws, no pants yet, but then again since I moved back to FL I dont get to run my saws very often anymore.

    I'm more of a Husqvarna fan. Stihl makes a good saw, but they'd be hard-pressed to be more reliable and flexible than my Husky 51 has been.
    It's amazing to me how militant some people get about them though. Worse than Ford vs Chevy.

    Or Toyota vs Nissan, on this site, haha!
