    The Provincial Government of BC is promoting CLT and other mass timber construction technologies to create more secondary made in BC products for our timber resources .

    They helped sponsor an 18 storey mass timber hybrid experimental building at UBC called Brocks Common as a proof of concept and our building codes have been re-written to allow more mass timber construction and taller wood framed buildings

    Wow and double Wow. Do not ever tell anyone you cut firewood, you are shooting ducks in a barrel! Lucky you - this is so ideal. I hope you have a dry covered place to store your "stock" of this stuff. If the pile got wet assuming you stack it would trap the moisture between the sticks. If this stuff is kiln dried as you say - you got some heat there!
    I almost think you would be ahead -labor wise to let it bundled up and cut it as you need it -if that is possible and you have dry storage for it.

    Battery backup, generator? A small computer UPS could auto-switch it when power went out.. then back, when power was restored. I use an old one to turn lights on in my generator shed when power goes out. :thumbsup:

    Had a bunch of wet snow dump on us around noon , couple trees wiped out the powerlines on our road , cooking on the woodstove tonight

    this is about the 5th or 6th time we've had to do it since we built our house , the Pacific Energy Alderlea we have actually has swing out cooking grates on its top
