I'm trying to add photos to this thread. For the last month or so I've been trying to get someone to deliver four cords of oak and mixed wood to my house. Everyone has said "yep, no problem" and then, for whatever reason, can never actually deliver some wood.

It's stove season already here. Just want some damn wood. Ha

Wait until they all get caught up and you have a yard full of wood!

There's a guy just down the hill whose business is chainsaws and firewood. I asked him to bring up 3 cords. He didn't. I went back and asked again, he was so sorry so busy he will get it to me. No problem I said.

    That was 1995.

Moved to a new home last Monday. Part of the agreement was I can take my wood which was nicely stacked and drying. Well, I now have an IKEA wood stack at my new place. 9EDA952D-FC05-4023-8340-795A459F3E1D.jpg

I have a new Vermont Casting stove . Manual says to put magnet thermostat on the griddle. Would it be better on the stove pipe about two feet up?

I only have about 15’ of stovepipe altogether.
It has a catalyst as well

The installer of my Vermont Castings stove said to use a damp paper towel with stove ashes on it to clean the glass and not Windex. Something about the natural composition of the ashes have acid . I could have that wrong . I’m going to try it tbough.

I posted this after the fact that someone already answered :anonymous:
