They look similar to Vermont Castings stoves. Look like high quality castings

its a hybrid , steel firebox and guts with applied castings on the exterior so the firebox heats up quickly and the castings store heat

I'm jealous of you all who have already had your first burns of the season. Yesterday it was 80 degrees here in Bellingham, WA. I'm ready for the cold and wet weather! We haven't had any significant amount of rain or cool weather for a couple months now.

Alderlea T6. I pulled all the grates off the top. Looked stupid swung outwards and got in the way. Even the back one is off, leaves better placement for the Ecofans.

Peter, is that one of the eco fans intended for gas stoves with lower skin temps? Mine never worked except directly on the flat stove top.

Peter, 20yo and still working? Mine only last 5 years at most. I've put new motors on a couple, tried a new power module (sucessful, but not great). Maybe I overfire them.

We got 3 dumptruck loads and got it all under cover ... it rained hard the night we finished. That and what we had left over from last year will be good.

Anyone use the Pocket Bellows to restart from embers in the morning.
I do, and really like it. Campfire, or wood stove.
