Tire shop set them all to 40 psi when they put them on. With the super cold weather here they've been running around 37 or 38. I usually run my tires at 35 and have been meaning to lower the psi but just been too lazy.

Tire rack called me back after placing my tire order, 285-70r-17 will work on my new 2016-trd off road, with trd pro 17 4runner rims, and the toytech fox ultimate lift? Please say yes!!

Yah man, I wouldn't think twice about that set up. I'm running the same tires/wheels without issue and a similar coil-over (your Fox is nicer). I'm sure you'll be just fine.

40 psi when they put them on. Been running about 38 psi with the super cold weather we're having here.

Update again. Finally got it back to the dealer for the alignment today. They still didn't have the 2016 specs in so they aligned it to the 2015 specs...I assume they are about the same. When I went to pick it up they said they didn't print the alignment page because their "printer was broken". I was pretty pissed about that as he couldn't even tell me how far out it was to begin with nor where they actually got it to. He just said it was "in-spec" and that the computer erases all the data after they pull it off the rack. He said they didn't have time to put it back on the rack today as they were booked up. For what it's worth it drives nice, still no rubbing or wandering and I'm still running the stock UCA's. I'll drive it like this for now but I'll either take it back or go somewhere else and have them put it on a rack and print the page for piece of mind.

That grille is effing awesome. First one I have seen like that. I might be copying you on that once I get mine:D Also really dig that light bar. I like the placement of that much better than on top of the cab. Nicely done.

How does that grill mount in there? Does it utilize screws, or glue/goop like another manufacturer?

Cali-Raised Single Row 31.5" Light Bar. I bought it through Chris at Apex Light Bars. He also makes the brackets that hold the light bar in place...they are awesome.

    MGM lurker here... :spy:

Sweet looking Taco, Kevin! Love the look, and am really digging that grill. I think that might just be the best aftermarket option I have seen so far IMO.
I just ordered a set of the TRD Pro wheels like yours and am debating the 285 vs 275 KO2. I'm going with an OME lift from HS. Do you have any pictures of how far past the fenders your 285s stick out? Do the tires bulge a lot with the 7" wheel? Thanks in advance if you can provide a picture.

Sure! Love the 285's and think they look/fit good. Decent tire bulge. They don't really stick out at all past the fenders, they basically line up exactly with the outermost portion of the fenders, see pics and let me know if you have other questions.

Black Friday deal. I think they only do it once a year or so, from what I can tell Icon controls the minimum price that the resellers can sell at pretty heavily.

I like them just fine. Better than similar style Nfab steps I used to have on another truck. Originally not something I wanted but they came on the truck for free. Was going to take them off but I don't mind the look and they help my kids climb in and out so I left them on. Good thing is they are aluminum so no rust, that's a big deal in Utah where they salt the roads a lot. They bolt to the cab, not the frame, so definitely not for rock sliding or anything like that. Good for step ups and that's about it.

The rear was a little more complicated than I thought as you have to drill out 1 large rivet on the back side of the factory leaf in order to fit the Icon progressive AAL. I also wanted to keep my factory overload leaf in which required drilling out 1 more rivet on the front of each factory overload to make it all fit. Here's a pic of the rear all buttoned up, took about 3 hours:

Woody79: Why did you want to keep the factory overload leaf? Softer? Firmer? Height?

I didn't want to lose any weight carrying capacity by removing it. I haul heavy things in the bed from time to time and tow a boat to the lake in the summer. Was afraid that removing the overload would reduce my ability to tow and haul.

    Woody79...

Your build here looks awesome...I'm picking up a QS DCLBOR at the end of the month and am considering the same wheel/tire option you've got.

Question...what are you running for your spare? Will the 285/70/17s on a 17 inch rim still fit under the truck?

    Thanks!
