Hey, thanks a bunch Charlie. I'm still running my stock spare rim/tire - not ideal. I just haven't addressed it yet. From the little research I've done it's hit or miss on whether a 285 will fit under the truck. Seems most guys are able to get them to fit without too much trouble. I procrastinate enough that I'm sure I'll wait till after I need it to find out whether or not it fits!

Excellent...thanks for insight on the spare....I guess we'll cross that bridge when we respectively come to it. ;) I've got the Icon Stage 2 ordered as well, and will be slapping on an SSO slimline bumper + winch.

What kind of MPG have you been seeing? (Not a major consideration, just wondering) Any other tweaks to your build you're considering after now driving your setup for a year or so?

Hard to tell exactly as I'm not sure if the computer is calculating right with the larger tires and I don't pay much attention to it but the computer usually reads around 17 MPG or so.

Woody - don't know if you've already crossed this bridge yet, but I just finally got my full size spare on today. I'm running slightly smaller than you (275/70/16) but I still have almost an inch of clearance between the spare and the exhaust. Your tires are .5 inches taller than mine, so you should have a .25 less clearance - so am guessing it should work for you. I think as long as the tire isn't actually touching the exhaust or heat shield you shouldn't have any problems.

It's been awesome. Had it on over a year now and everything still drives great. I've been very happy with it and never regretted it.
