I'm about to try and do this myself. I'm up in Maine and a bit too far to try and schedule anything in Mass. Any tips on what to avoid hitting with woolwax? I heard that fluidfilm could make rubber swell. Don't know about woolwax. Already did inside my door drains and hit inside of all of the rocker panel openings with the covers.

I haven't had any issues with rubber that I know of. Avoid exhaust but not really a big deal it'll burn off. Don't get it on the serpentine belt. Also keep the product warm for better flow. At some point it won't flow when it's too cold

Thank you for the response! Do you hit suspension components or anything around the engine bay? I do know to avoid brakes, strut pistons, belts, exhaust.

It depends on the truck some people want the suspension coated, some people don't. I've taken spray cans to places in my engine bay. Brake lines, inside the hood, the hood latch, anytime I take something apart I usually spray some somewhere

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
Saw some spots on the driveway underneath the truck, got nervous thinking I have a leak somewhere. I just did all my fluids and my timing cover is slowly leaking, but not enough to leave drips; so I’m hyper vigilant right now.

I went under the truck and can’t see anything leaking, but it sure looks like the fluid film I applied in October is liquifying and dripping off a few low spots on the frame. Has anyone else had this happen to them in this extreme heat? I just black fluid film so it sure looks like an oil leak of some kind but I definitely suspect the FF. My advisor @crashngiggles seems to agree with this theory.

Take your vehicle off road and get some dirt on the fluid film, that protects my ff.

Fluid film will typically flow better so I'm not surprised if it is. I haven't seen any dripping woolwax.
