Wordle - and other fun, addicting word games.

I’ve gone x/6 five times in the last two weeks I’ve got caught in word spirals trying to fit two letters or one and just guessing wrong. I’m not enthralled with today’s word being considered within the English language. There was another one last week I felt the same way on I’ll have to look back.

Oh well.

It is just short for hippopotamus, not a word by itself in my opinion.

I keep a running list of words that were that day's solution, that seem suspect (to me) as being proper. Some are foreign words others are what I'd consider slang.

 

The spiral, guessing game, of finding the last letter is what I least enjoy. No logic, no skill, no effort, just guess.

We share results with family members. Our daughter-in-law never finished one of the wordles last week, couldn't come up with a next guess. I told her she must have been AFFIXed to her position, which made her laugh.
