My second guess was POUTY. I used the other vowels in the 1st word, and there wasn't much to do with OU, the yellow and consonants that were remaining. Was that yours as well?

 

A 3 gets me into 8th!

 

Three for me as well. It ain't much but better than the 4s and 5s I've been getting lately.

My wife is a surgeon and literally went in to work this morning to repair two tibial fractures. My dog is also two weeks post-OP of a tibial surgery.

Finally breaking out of my streak of 4’s and 5’s. I’ve had 3’s for the last 3 days in a row.

Seems all my guesses after the first one were pretty off base.
