It gets more intense every month

 

I'm in for next month. I started halfway through October.

 

I thought I was pretty clever with my word choice and then look at the standings and @Brownmatthall also gets it in three.

 

Four today but it didn't look good after the first two guesses. At least by the third I had enough letters ruled out that I think the fourth guess was the only option.

 

Pulled that one out of nowhere.

Eek… I was thinking I’d be on par with 4 but I guess today’s competitive guess was 3.

I think I only got this in 3 because this same word was used a few weeks ago.

 

Current standings. There’s still 11 days left and there’s plenty of opportunity to climb/fall. Keep up the good competition!
