1st stretch on the changes in store, thought you guys would like some pictures. Yes the truck is rubbing pretty bad, so cuts are being made right now.

    BfG K02 - 285/70/17
    Method BeadLock's, not simulated.

Fox with remotes res on all four corner. 2 inch lift.

    Lookin sharp!
Curious to see what you had to cut to avoid tire rubbing.

I am curious as well, as I barely pulled out of the bay and heard the distinctive rub of the fender. If it's anything like my 09 and 12, shouldn't be much.

Hopefully they can knock it out as it's off to the body shop tonight and then to the fabricator on Sunday.

And for the pm, yes those are real BeadLock's lol.

I'll post pictures showing what was cut as soon as I can.

    Thanks guys.

The 2nd picture show the tire awfully close to the air dam. You taking that off?

Air dam is coming off, whether or not it's due to to the rub, it just looks ridiculous IMO.

Interesting. I thought you could run 275s stock height without any rubbing. Thanks for the info.

    Here are pics as promised,

Left and right side, does not hit the air damn. Going to drive it around and see if anymore rubbing happens.

I apologize and corrected the info, tires are 285's. Should've double checked, my bad guys.

The shocks provide front and rear lift?

To get 2" do you have to crank the springs down some? What height do they come in the box?
How is the ride compared to OEM?

That's a great looking setup. However, are you sure that the rear shocks are providing the lift? Front coilovers like your are height adjustable, but the rear shocks should not change the height of the rear suspension. Can you double check and let us know if there is an AAL or block back there?

Makes me question the guys who claimed "no rubbing at all" on 285/70r17s. Looks great OP!

I'm not sure on the technical aspects required for the lift, but the ride is an improvement IMO. Body roll is cut down due to it being a little more on the firm side, but still compliant. I have bilstein 5100 on the 09, they were OK, but nothing to rave about. The 12 had the same suspension setup as this truck AM wise, was a nice ride. But the 16 rode way nicer than the 12 stock and with the Fox shocks.

I will double check. It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong.

If they have no rub issues than my aunt must've grown a pair of balls and became my uncle. I will report back later tonight as I have a long drive to make, and I will stuff it in whatever steep driveways I find lol.

Thank you for all the compliments guys. I am having a few custom parts made and I'll share them with you over the next week.

If you need anymore pictures all do what I can.

The poster that was saying no rubbing with that size tire has a 3in Icon-5 lift. This is a 2in lift.
