Rubbing in this case is probably due to the wheel offset and width. I'd bet with more backspacing and a slightly narrower wheel (since it's a REAL beadlock I'd bet its at least 9" wide).

I'm on my 4th 2nd gen and 3 of them have had either 285/75/16, 285/70/17 or 295/70/17 and NONE of my trucks have rubbed in the location shown here. All of them have run either 17" tundra wheels or 16" TRD FJ cruiser wheels.

does the sport have pretty good off road capability with a skid plate and 3inch lift with 33 inch tires?

Yes. I have only had sports because I hate the way OR's look. Had an 07,13 and now 16 sport. Had a 6'' fabtech on my 07 and it went anywhere. Back then the only difference was the locker which sucks (can only use in 4LO) now with crawl there may be more of a difference.

Would putting spacers on avoid some of the rubbing? I'm dead set on the 285's
so they are 285/70r17? You said they were 285 and corrected to 285 or am I illiterate

Back from the body shop, don't know if I am sold on the tail lights in black. Penning up a few designs for a new grill, skid plate, and a dual LED light bar.

Couple more, kind of in a rush this morning, don't know if I like the tail lights yet, but it is pretty overcast so they come off pretty dark...

Tail lights are not tinted, but you can still see the though the paint when they're in direct sunlight. Not quite as dark as the pics are showing.

You need to dip that grill black, then it would be perfect.

Did you figure out how you got 2" of lift in the rear? Was it just the shocks or something else added?

Also did you measure before and after?
