I am off, but the wife has duty x-mas eve, and x-mas...she works in a locked mental health facility. The money is good, but the hours are MISERABLE, she is on call five nights a week, every week and right now is only getting six days off a MONTH including weekend.

My Christmas present was blowing up 7500lbs of unserviceable ammo out in the Philippines. Also got hooked up with an extra night in Manila before I head back down south. I love my job.

Yep...working all night long...midnight to 8am. I'm working my 3rd mid-shift of five while my wife is at home tucked in bed. I work swings for New Year's Eve and New Years day too. I'm getting double-pay today and next Sunday.

I'm not complaining...I could have asked off.

Annnddddd i'm stuck at work until 10am.. "supervisor" said he'll work 10-1ish then i'd have to come back in.. hah... yea, no. Can't really legally make me work 15 hours - break for 3 hours - then work 18 hours.

 I hate lazy people. I don't even really see this day as anything other than another day but still.... I don't want my partner working since this is his babies first christmas and all.

Working 1600 to 2400 today. As long as the planes are flying around, or not, I'll be controlling them, or not. Air traffic control isn't what it used to be. Glad I retire in a year or so. Got so many dirt roads to follow..
