I like snow. Caveat: Good powdery dry snow. These spring snows suck ass. Just awful. I was out on business and my hill got wacked with 8+ inches of wet cement. Awful soaked snot snow! When i got back the snow blower wouldnt even pull it all up off the stone. Finally got enough done to get up the driveway. Left the rest to melt. Even with about 480 lbs in the back in 4Lo the Taco fished tailed its way up (stock tires are a joke). Oh I hate wet spring snow!

Never even fired up the snowblower this year. We basically got NOTHING. A couple inches here and there and melted in a day or three. Dang glad I only put about 1/4 tank of go go juice in.

It was pathetic. However, for the last winter working gas utility, I'm not losing any moisture crying.

I ran away from snow and ice to Phoenix.

Indiana, one time I flew back and took a taxi home. The taxi was one of 5 visible cars most of the ride home and it looked like Alaska.

Ohio one LONG-ASS January it was -25 wind-chill for 20 days. I was WFH so I stayed inside most of those days. Weather people on the news were BEGGING people to not go outside ... "You think you know cold, but YOU CAN DIE! DO NOT go out out unless you must!".

Phoenix ... not so much. I can drive to Flagstaff if I want snow/ice.

You must work hard to get me to move back to deep cold/snow.

I am fragile and whiny about cold now. WAAAAH! I have adjusted to AZ and Phoenix in general because the alternate is usually cold instead of 60-70 in January.

I took off my winters on monday, it snowed a lot but its all melting quickly.

I hate burning my winter tires off in the spring. I leave them on if I have a trip, but currently I'm city bound.

Back during my Navy days, I was stationed in upstate NY at a training command. Each year, the first couple of snowfalls were fun. By January I was cussing that stuff! As soon as the goobermint would let me, I moved back south where I belong. You can have that white crap!

Whatever anyone says, that is beautiful. I'm sure it creates a lot of work for you, but aesthetically there really is nothing better than a freshly-fallen snow. That's the benefit of being in a cabin in the woods I suppose.

Come join us in the woods, man. It's better.

I love to play in the snow, but no way I'd live where it snows all the time. I lived in Virginia for 4 years and got all the snow I ever wanted (and it doesn't even snow heavily there). But digging my car out of the snow and de-icing the glass every day just to get to work...never again. I'll take scorching heat over subfreezing temps any day of the week.
