Interesting thing to me is, THe Lexus, Ferrari, Audi, and Vette, all had faster speeds, over the Nissan. This tells me that the Nissan got most of its quickness at the launch. Given another 1/4 mile ( or standing start 1 mile), Im sure the first 6 or 7 finishers would have been placed differently.

Yeah it is a total different story with slicks but on everyday tires the AWD car will win.
And to set the top gear "american haters" straight the stig (who is a professional race car driver) does all the driving. I don't watch the american version because it sucks. Oh and who makes the truck are you driving?

Americans can't seem to compete with the rest of the world on super cars. Just because its fast (and like the ZR1 only in a straight line) doesn't mean its a super car, at least not in my opinion.

A corvette doesnt even really qualify as a supercar. Its hardly even exotic. Typical of americans to think a drag race proves how fast a car is. Put those cars on the track and add some turns. The McLaren MP4-12C will kill a corvette of any kind

You just love to spout off about things you know nothing about. Maybe do some research before you speak next time. What exactly do you think classifies a car as a "supercar"? The ZR1 might not look like a supercar but it performs just like one.

Sure you have the so called "supercar" crowd like the following:

    Bugatti Veyron - $1+ MILLION
    Pagani Zonda F - $1+ MILLION
    Ferrari 458 Italia - $260+ Thousand
Prosche Carrera GT - $400+ Thousand
    Koenigsegg CCX - $500+ Thousand
    Koenigsegg CCR - $500+ Thousand
    Lexus LFA - $350+ Thousand
    Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SV - $450+ Thousand
Lamborgini Gallardo Superleggera - $230+ Thousand

Of course these are all extremely nice "supercars" but look at the price...

    Corvette ZR1 - $110 THOUSAND

OH... WAIT! What??? The ZR1 beat all of the above cars around the Nurburgring? So I guess your "supercar" classification is strictly dependant on the price tag... okay.

And for Cr250jumper... The McLaren MP4 is said to be close to the Ferrari 458 in performance which was beat by the ZR1. Although I couldn't pull up a time for the MP4 seeing as it wrecked when making a run around the ring.

You don't need slicks. When I was in Houston we had a Chevy Malibu running 275/60 BFG Drag Radials that would hang the front tires about a foot in the air and pull down 1.4-1.5 60' times. Also, The red ZR1 in that video is running stock tires.

:jerkoff: Wow your so smart. It may perform "like" a supercar. But as you even said its still not a supercar. Thanks for clarifying

Edit: Funny how you spout without knowing as well but part of the defenition of supercar is, yes you guessed it, PRICE TAG

I said it may not LOOK like a supercar but it performs like one. So I guess you classify a supercar based on how it looks? and Montanataco classifies it on the price tag? And here I was thinking they should be classified on performance, crazy me.

Let me know how it feels to get owned.

    And it's you're not your.

Get owned? Lol. Didnt know you were homo, but Im not, so thanks but I will decline on that one. And yes you must be crazy because if you were to do some reserach on the term "supercar" you will find both looks and price tag are in consideration WITH performance. If it was based solely on performance your RC51 would be a supercar too?

Oh so there are other factors to what makes a supercar besides performance?? Hmmm interesting
