    Wow. 13 hours of labor for something that would take me 4 (and I'm slow).

    First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    No way I'd do business with someone that was quite literally "screwing" me.

    Why not call Off road and get a fair market price for this stuff. Then, when it arrives try putting it on yourself, it's actually easier then it appears. I did mine and I have no real aptitude for anything automotive. And/or contract with a local shop. I was quoted $500 for mine but was suprised I could do it pretty easy in one day, just some Craftsman hand tools. I did have Wheelers pre-press the springs onto the shocks (since I don't have that equipment.

    Then take it in for an alignment afterwards. Right afterwards, it will be noticeably off.

    It took me, myself and a sticky on this forum. 5 hours with no professional equipment or knowledge. You're getting bent over

    Labour is about 8 hours too high for starters

    Also keep in mind US prices don't compare apples to apples unless you factor in shipping , currency conversion and brokerage

    So....

    1654.45 for parts US before tax.

    (These prices are shipped to this dealer you are going to)
    236.18 = Coils
    467.01 = Struts
    581.11 = Rear Leafs
    302.99 = Rear Shocks
    49.74 = u bolts
    17.78 = DS Spacer.

    Actually pretty close to what we would pay with shipping.

    Wheelers Prices/ Headstrong prices ( Prices do not include shipping )

    Coils = 167.20 / 159.99
    Struts = 330.60 / 310.00
    Rear Leafs = 412.30 / 379.99
    Rear Shocks = 214.70 / 189.99
    U Bolts = 29.95 / 46.99
    DS Spacer = 12.35 / 17.99

    Complete ready to go package from Wheelers / Headstrong ( Price does not include shipping)
    ( Includes everything listed above )

    1050.00 / 1134.99 (includes assembly of front coils if I read it write)

    Actually doesn't seem too far off. There is a little inflation. But a little cut too on some parts so it closely offsets one another. The labor though is the butt fuck. I would buy the parts from them and then install them yourself. One thing you never see is the Canadians holding a mod day. hmmmm

    for what it is worth I got quoted here install and alignment for $350. I however did it myself with a guy I met on here locally. Not only did we both install a lift for the first time I made a new friend in the process. They are charging way too much for labor. Highest I would even think to pay would be $500 OTD with alignment included.

    I can see them charging 4-5 hours labour + cost of alignment

    Not too sure what the $143 in shop supplies is either

    Looks like they are trying to lower the prices on the product to make you think you’re getting a good deal, but really they are just bending you over on the labor. Pay for the strut assembly and do the install yourself, it’s not hard at all.

    WOW...I'm glad I asked! That's were I was leaning on getting my parts and install. Gotta love Alberta, you know the reason there quoting that, is because they know someones not gonna have any problems paying it.

    Holy crap! 4K, WTF!?!

    I ordered a full OME kit from wheelers, etc. and did the install with a buddy in my driveway in an afternoon. Cost me a 6 pack over the wheelers $.

    It's not rocket surgery, just jacking up a truck and knocking out nuts and bolts.

    Also, did you get extended rear brake lines? That should be the first thing to go on, if you flex out the rear on stock lines good chance you'll deform the fittings and then you are into a whole lot more $, especially at the rates you are paying.....

    Not necessarily true, many folks on here run Dakars without extending their brake lines. I'm not one of them though.

    If you are cool with your stock lines becoming limit straps then rock on......

    According to ARB, as long as you have the according Nitrochargers, then the stock lines are long enough.

    $3100 USD before taxes including labour which has already been determined to be $800 too much

    Check out the build
    Geez, for $4K you can get a way better suspension setup!

    It's really easy to install, I did my OME myself and I had not done any suspension components on the truck before. The only part I had done was have the front struts assembled but I also bought new hats. That was $60 for the pair I think.

    It took about 6 hours, 2 for the rear and 4 for the front. I took my time since it was the first time doing it and all by myself. If I had a helper and a lift I don't see it take more than 4 total.
