$800 just for front shocks and coils alone... just buy the parts from some website, pay the additional shipping to canada world, and have it installed ANYWHERE else.

    Check out the build
I just saw it was Canadian so not quite $4K US, but still too much for that setup.

I paid about 1800 for my full OME setup from Wheelers with 887's, Dakars, Nitros, extended brake lines, Camburg UCAs, carrier drop, and coil assembly labor charge. I've never installed a lift before and with just hand tools it took me about 10 hours (6-7 hours of actually working on the truck) over 2 days to install it due to distractions and taking my time. I had help for about half of that time.

Nope, 1800 US, I have the invoice somewhere, but I am thinking it was 1700 and some change, closer to 1800. Camburg UCA's are more expensive than the LR ones.

I am still rocking oem uca and 3.5" lift no issue getting into spec. You will however have drift in alignment, depending on how much you wheele, but I get alignments almost monthly so no biggie

" into spec " is a pretty wide range

are you including your 1 1/2" body lift in your 3 1/2" ?

aligned monthly = you need an damn UCA

Really tho. Who would do alignment every month? New tires/lift and get alignment. See them again next year or until its no longer going straight.

Anyways. Damn 13 hours for installation. This is a shop not some neighbor garage right? Which most likely be faster lol As for shop supplies. Well someone have to pay for their water bottles and electric usage.

wow....13 hours to install?? they must think your stupid enough to fall for that....

8 hours is what it took me to install my full OME lift, ALONE, front/rear and 886 and UCA's. And I'm not a pro, I just have some sockets and pry bars. If I was a professional shop with proper tools, I can see it getting done in about 4-6 hours, and those hours include the alignment.

Looked around for a different shop to do it for cheaper, ended up getting quoted $500 at a different place (which also has really good reviews)... a full $930 cheaper than the original place I went to.

Why not post up in the Canada section asking for help on a weekend installing a lift? That will save you some major coin, you'll get to meet some cool local guys and get some experience of working on the truck yourself?

Thats much better. Although if you have basic mechanical knowledge and hand tools you could do it yourself. There are a few write ups on this site.

Although it would be cool to get some experience and do it myself, I'm syper busy doing Canadian things... like playing hockey and repairing my igloo.
