Worst 3rd Gen colors?

What sick son of a bitch voted MGM... probably someone that owns MGM and has to keep it clean.

Seems there is a clear runaway winner...

 

LOL to each their own. Its definitely my least favorite blue that was offered... its actually more of a purple. I had a coworker that had one and it was in almost any light that was available... Purple.

 

Super White hands down! If you don't like it at first give it a little while. The paint will eventually flake off

I’m with the Super White haters since I have a lovely peeling one.

 

Toyota and white should never go together. EVER.

Silver is just.............BLAND. Great color if you are going to do paint work on it as it goes with so many other colors.

 

The color white hands down wins as the worst since it peels. I laugh every time I see a white 4th gen drive by.

 

On a hot day I recently measured the surface of my White '23 to be 38 degF cooler than MGM at the same roof location. Heat performance can make a huge difference on trips.

Fashionable cars are never practical cars. If it was easy to drive an awesome car, then contractor-white 150s and brown Nissan Rogues would not exist. Them's the rules.

 

I went to look at cars and my God... every lot looked identical. White, black and some shade of grey... and maybe one red out of 50 or more cars. I didn't see a single green on a new car all day. And the very few blues were all so dark they might as well have been black.

 

The 3rd Gen was robbed. No dark blue.

Thankfully they stopped making that colour, making them rarer than a steak!!!!!

 

Not unimportant: *IF* you happen to have issues with your paint a few years down the road, only White Tacomas will get officially resolved by Toyota. Other colors are out of luck.

 

Lunar Rock is a panty dropper, and that's not always a good thing. So I'm confused which way to vote.

 

I think BBP got some help for a while also?

 

If I had to do it over again, 100% I would have bought a Blue Crush. Amazing color on the 3rd gen. The neighbors had one. A tree fell on it.


My car on the other hand... I'm waiting for it to get out of the paint shop because it's seat covers just arrived today.







At least I can get my color jollies somewhere.

 

Last red vehicle for me. BR is nice though. Dying for a Miata. Someday!
