    OP just remember something, with a enough time, money, and preferably skill, anything can be repaired or replaced. If you can do that and are willing to, then go for it. Just make sure it'll be worth it to you. Regret is a real bitch.

    Always expect 4 times the amount of time to fix, and double or triple the parts cost. Once you start tearing into the repairs and replacement, you're going to find more issues and parts you need. Good luck.
    Alternatively, you could ride the greyhound bus somewhere where there's a nicer truck, buy it and go.
