Hi all I'm Gary from Pennsylvania and I have a 2014 tacoma base, silver with a lot of add ons. I wanted to know if it's worth getting 1.5 inch wheel spacers or should I not waste the money because I'm going for a wider stance without spending a lot of money.?

You will find people warning you that they will damage your vehicle and cause huge problems, but as long as you buy from a reputable brand (Bora or Spidertrax), install per manufacturer specs and you check the torque periodically, you should be fine. The biggest pain is trying to keep mechanics at shops from putting on your lugs with impact wrenches.

I ran them for about 12k miles with no issues before buying new wheels with greater negative offset.
