That's what I'm doing. Unfortunately, the CBI push bar I've got my eye on looks like it requires 2 holes to be drilled into the aluminum bumper.

Though.... if I were pulling it off, to say, trade in the vehicle... no one would ever know.

At least you wouldn’t have to worry about repainting and oxidation! Some folks like mods so I guess it depends who you’d want to market to. I talk like I’ll eventually trade for an upgrade but let’s face it, the grass is always greener and there isn’t a darn thing wrong with mine. It’s nice to know most things can be reverted. But once we start modding, we really don’t want to put that all on a new vehicle so I’m talking out both sides of my mouth

Mine’s a lease. But I’ve modded leases before. It’s not the smartest choice, but it’s been done.

That said, I’m absolutely in love with this Taco, even though it’s only been 2 weeks. I’m pretty much convinced that I’m going to keep it when the lease is up in 3 years.

I’d be hard for me to give back a 21 Pro! Maybe they will have the 4th gen out by then. Congrats on the very nice ride and welcome to TW! :hattip:

What I have basically looks like the S2000 antenna; The Celica antennas, on such an aggressive little body, made them look like RC cars.

My 2005 Focus, with the antenna centered above the windshield, CERTAINLY looked like an RC car

    Thanks!

They are about due for a redesign. If I had to pick, right now, whether to keep it or turn it in, I'm keeping it. 100%.

I may have just talked myself into ordering that CBI push bar. Heckin' A.

Only "worthless" mods I've done so far are decals. I changed the bed decal with the red lettering to a matte black version, and I also added the flags on either side of the truck by the mirrors.

Worthless, yes. But 10/10 would do both again.

Think through your purchases/mods for a long time, like 2 or 3 times your normal timeline for purchases, and you'll likely avoid buyers remorse.

Baja designs sae fogs. If I could do it over, I'd get the diode dynamics sae version as it'd be more useful and by the sounds of it less people would be pissed off from the reduced glare.

Reduced. I did research after I bought BD. They're great for off road but I wanted street able fogs --> diodes

Hey, I know this is unrelated, but you should consider not recovering in reverse. I can't verify it personally, but I have heard bad thigs about ring gears in Toyotas being a lot weaker in reverse.:notsure:

There is a white connector inside the center console under the shifter on the passenger side, unplug that and it kills the lights to the shift indicator. You have to disconnect the boot by pulling down on the boot right under the shift ball, unscrew the shift ball then pull up on the front cup holders and it will pop up enough to get to it.

I put 2 of these on my truck. Turns out I don’t need that much downforce. Need to take one off.

The Tacoma Attic from Blue Ridge Overland Gear is the only mod I truly regret purchasing. It doesn't really work and was way too expensive. Fortunately, it's easy to uninstall.

At least it was fairly cheap. Remove it and sell it. Might as well get something back.
