    It's pretty simple. To get from a to b at a steady speed requires x amount of energy, end of story. How you make that energy is up to you but it's going to require it.

    Forced induction let's you make more power than natural aspiration. It does so by increasing the amount of fuel your engine can use. It will still use the same amount of energy.
