Would anyone be interested in replica TRD Faux grilles?

A member @7r41lbr34k3r pointed out that this grille is made in Taiwan vs the one from Alibaba's sure which is made in China (if that makes a difference to you or not)

 

How legal is this?

OK. So long as he is calling it a replica grille he may be OK. The chances of Toyota going after someone for replicating their grille is not very high. If he claimed it was an original then he would could and should have issues. If Toyota tried to go after him then everyone that printed something with TRD would be likewise be screwed. I have not researched whether or not Toyota has even trademarked that grille.

 

Maybe it's how they get around selling the ford RAptor grill knock offs.. you get everything minis the "FORD" letters(which can be purchased separately)

You clearly state it is a replica only. I doubt Toyota will go after them. If they do then you either lawyer up or say I'm sorry and make it slightly different. Or, you check to see if they even have it trademarked.

 

Replica. Trust me.

 

Wish this would've been around before I spent $385 on mine a few weeks ago.
