I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had plenty of money to burn. Why the hell not? It's ugly, but if you get the awd with 2.9 0-60 and 14k lbs hauling see you suckers behind in the rearview mirror as your third gen trannies nonstop shift because you're hauling a 200lb trailer up a .5 degree grade.

Oh and the whole, omg how will you charge it out there? The damn same way you get gasoline in the middle of the Mojave desert, you don't. Plan your trips well and fill up beforehand. Plus most of the peeps in here don't do anything more than a 5 mile firebreak for offroading so range isn't an issue. The only reason it turns into a full day or overnight trail is because of all the stopping and picture taking for the 'gram

My problem (other than that I don't have $100K and also don't want to drive a vehicle that makes the Pontiac Aztec look attractive), is that I have to drive 200 miles just to get to some decent trails. Even with 500 miles of range, that leaves me very little wiggle room.

    Oh, and it's ugly

I've seen some Tesla's that run very impressive #'s in the Quarter mile

    Mid 9 sec pass

    1.3x 60' time

    5.8x in the 1/8th

140mph in the Quarter and the rear tires black tracking the entire pass

I drive a 1st Gen and love it. I have driven 4 3rd gens and wouldn't do an even trade for any, especially PRO.

Everybody knows they're fast. That doesn't make it any less ugly.

Who knows, might not look as bad in person. I just don't get why they decided to make it look like a supercar instead of a truck

Then this thing needs to come with enough coke to make me like it. And I ain't talking about Carmel colored soda.

Quite a few trucking companies are using Tesla Semi trucks

    Such as ...

    Walmart

    UPS

    JB HUNT

    Pepsico

Are they using batteries? Or, are they using a diesel generator like a locomotive?

I could live with the UGLY and get used to no engine oil changes, coolant flush n fills, SMOG TEST? Tranny, transfer and 2diff service isn't my favorite way to spend a day either. No manifolds, muffler or CATALYTIC CONVERTERS. Fuel injectors. And NO MORE GASOLINE!:spending::spending::spending::burnrubber:

All battery with a 500 mile range and then 400 mile range on a 80% charge that can be done in 30 minutes. Damn! That’s pretty impressive. 500 miles, stop and plug in the rig and get a burger. Oh, cone out and unplug and be good for another 400 miles.

At least that’s what the internet says.
