depending on how close you are to your ex, showing up could potentially cause a this is awkward moment while sending flowers will most always be a well thats was really nice of him.

    Ex? Vacation...

That'd be weird if I showed up at an ex's family member's funeral. Send a card and some flowers but don't go to the funeral.

Shame on you for asking this!! *shakes finger at you!*

Your wife comes first. Your ex-wife's sister (if she truly loves and respects you) would want you to put your wife first.

If you have kids with her and they will be with her than it might be worth doing for the face you'll save infront of your kid otherwise your ex might hold that as leverage. Otherwise if you have no kids than just send flower & condolonces. Your current wife is just WAITING to see what you do and if you cut the vacation and go to this funeral without a damn good reason ( see kid above ) she will blow that up in your face FOOORREVER....or untill divorce papers

this is dumb... she's an ex-wife for a reason... which also mean her family is an ex-family... bounce go on vacation with YOUR family and not worry about someone else's family.
