Would this be within someone's ability to repair on their own?

    This!
If it was a steal, someone in the know would've snatched it up before it went on the free market.

100% hidden damage which with that hit you would be looking at frame damage and/or rear axle+driveline damage such as the drive shaft getting slammed forward into the t case. They wouldn’t total that vehicle for cosmetic damage, not even a 1% chance of that.

Looks like the start of your Baja racing machine, cut the bed, rear frame right off, weld up something, put a flat bed on it. The Aussies could do it haha!

Holy Crap, the estimated retail value ($35,505) is more than I paid for my 2020 OR when it was new.
I know it's a Pro, but damn that truck is a mess :)

frame is bent. The 3rd gen tacoma's are really easy to bend the frame from a rear end

I was exhausted when I wrote that. I’m a dork. Sorry!

I blame my dog. Going to beat him now. :deadhorse:

It’s there for a reason, and a few bolt on parts being damaged isn’t the reason. The bed looks out of whack as well, but I doubt they would total it even for that. May be good enough for an off road only or farm use truck, but there will certainly be a bit of structural damage.
