Hope that is readable. I don't really know how to read these. Does this indicate there may be a chance to adjust the caster?

Your min max specs are all wrong for your truck. They are for the Tundra.

That said, the caster @ 3.0 is OK. The stock increments for caster is 1.0 ~ 2.7. More caster means less chance of rubbing on the cab mount.

Technically for optimum alignment, you want your toe and camber to be at 0, but you're close enough and still within (Tacoma) specs.

Are you 100% sure that the wheels are -12mm offset versions? Tire rack shows your wheels with another version at -18mm offset. It's usually stamped inside the wheel.

IMO, if you're getting tire contact with cab mount at 85% lock, I would remove those wheels immediately. I would not feel safe driving it.

I'm curious as to what happened when you bought these wheels? Did you go in and say I want these wheels with these specs or did he sell you those wheels?

Me- "Hey I just put new shocks and coils that give my truck a little lift and I would like to get new wheels and tires. I was told I need minimum 4.5 backspacing." *I am not very knowledgeable about wheels and tires and offset and backspace and the whole shabam, hoping he could set me up right.*

Tire Pro Manager- " Ok well look at these magazines and choose the style you want."

Me- "these KMC XD 301 series look great, will they fit?"

TPM - "I'll call my dealer and have him make sure they have them in stock and i'll ask." *calls KMC and tells them 2016 Tacoma with a 2 inch lift wants these tires, got them in stock? will they fit?*

TPM - "they'll be here Tuesday! Should be good to go"

Puts 285's and these wheels on and they rub super hard when turning the wheel 2 inches. They were about to let me drive off the lot with tires that clearly didn't fit.

I had to go back in and tell them to go down a size. They take them off and put 265's and they look like the fit until I drive off the lot and they rub when I fully turn the wheel to get onto the street.

At that point they were mounted and mine says mr. tire pro.

What kind of shop is this?

Can you confirm the wheel specs?

what did you pay with. I'd take them off, take them back to the dealer. remind them how they sold you wheels that dont fit. Tell them you arent taking them and filing a chargeback. None of this is your problem. Tell those guys top pound sand.

I can't see how they say it's your problem now, this guy sells wheels and tires for a living, you trusted he would sell you the right size and he didn't that's his problem in my book

shouldn't be a problem my wheels have the same specs and the only thing i rub is the bottom corner of the flare at full lock. an alignment should fix it. the wheels are great they keep your tires off the uca. but i guess my truck is a 2nd gen so never mind

Did you say you added UCAs? What if the arm angle changed? It looks like your wheels are pushed into the cab. WTH.

Im running wider by .5" with 6mm less offset. backspace dependent he shouldnt have the issues he is. so on each side of the beadseat im 12.7 or so mm wider. then take the 6mm off the front and im still more aggressive on the inside by 12.7mm. His 4.5" backspace shouldnt be too problematic. However his wheels are .5" further out than my old 18x9 et0 wheels that had 5" backspace and I had only minor issues rubbing

From this post it sounds like the wheel /tire salesman wasn't very experienced with tacomas as he should have known damn well that the 285s he initially put you into would rub badly no matter what (99.99% of the time ). That he didn't know says alot. I would check the rub marks at full lock and compression and if it turns out that a CMC will solve most of the rubbing, go at it. There is pretty good instructions for doing the "chop" part yourself in the thread I linked, and if you have the BAMF plates you can probably get them tacked on for well under a 100$. Problem solved for now, and if you want to go up to a 285 at some point you will be good to go with maybe some more plastic trimming ..

The CMC is no biggie , kee0 in mind that almost all the trucks you see in pics here on TW, and on the street, rocking 285s+ got it done
