    OVTune has the capability to adjust the alternator regulation settings to better support AGM batteries through their VFTuner software. There are at least two threads here with tons of info about the software and tuning of the 3rd gen tacoma ECU.

    It's about an inch lower in height than a 24F. The factory J-bolts may bottom out. Easiest fix is a piece of wood or plastic sandwiched between the crossbar and the battery.

    Electrically it's plug and play. Hook up the positive first, then the negative. The only noticeable item that loses memory is the climate control settings.

    and make sure you connect Red to Pos and Black to Neg.

    I just felt like that was the next question or at least the next issue... The F in 24F means the terminals are reversed
