I am happy with my truck and I need seat height and heat mirrors. I am 6'1" tall and sometime I cannot see the street light because some of them too high or too close. Wish the front seat little bit lower. Other than that I am fine with my truck. Don't really care leather or heat seat, I already have that on my old trailblazer and don't use heat seat very often because it will burn my a$$. LOL.

wow. just saw some awesome ideas. i live in ct so a cold weather package would be great. heated seats for the cold mornings and heated side mirrors for some safety. i too dont like the turn knob 4x4. i would prefer the stick on the floor. a locking tailgate would be nice and also my gas cap cover doesnt lock. other than that i love my tacoma!!!!!!!

That's life in a high-ground-clearance vehicle. I'm 5'10", and if anything, the stock seat height is too low. It needed to be .5 to 1" higher. After putting on my Wet Okoles with their half inch of added padding, the seat height is perfect.

If the floor is high, the ceiling has to be low to keep the vehicle from being excessively top-heavy and prone to rolling. The only thing the engineers can do is stretch you lengthwise. There's a very narrow window of proper drive height before you get to too tall or too short. The Taco's sweet spot seems to be about 5'11" or 6' even.

Apples to oranges. You're obviously comparing full size trucks to the Tacoma because I know full well that a Ranger or a Colorado would not be $45k.

But I agree on your last, it IS a great value. And I wouldn't have a problem with more options. One poster mentioned a higher cost in offering individual options instead of just packages but that doesn't make sense considering that, like with any business, the cost is factored into the price.

Would a Ranger or Colorado ever be worth $45k? One could argue a loaded Taco with some of the extra features noted in here might be.

BETTER SEATS! thats all I give a shit about. Don't even care if their power. Just bigger more comfortable seats for the long hauls. Hell Id be happy if they just made a seat upgrade an option. I would buy them, it's been my only real beef with the newer tacomas. Oh well maybe the plastic dash and door sides that you can scratch with a pubic hair.

Leather is easier to clean, Sunroof, Power Rear Window would be nice since you cant reach the back window from the rivers seat, digital display of MPG, Miles till Empty, etc. Overall I really like my truck the way it is tho.

I got it fully loaded. Sure there are options that would be nice like leather and heated seats but $32,000 is plenty enough expensive already!

If I could change anything, it would have a solid front axle. I hate CV joints!

I got mine fully loaded too, but I would add...1 touch auto up feature on drivers window, locking gas hatch, lighted dash knobs, and a light in the glove box and in the bed, distance to empty/mpg readout, and a locking tailgate. Other than that, it's perfect!

There are people here with 2 wheel drive going some pretty crazy places I didn't think would be possible. I wouldn't get too disappointed.
