I would love a SR5 DCLB 4x4 with a manual trans. Is there anyone else that thinks Toyota is dropping the ball with their options for manual trans?

I'd take a 4x2 Off Road in M/T, they make them in A/T only. WT?

Just get a TRD Sport or TRD Off Road (4x4) in manual. Yeah it sucks but we have to show Toyota that people want manual trucks.

    No.
I get injured too much to drive a manual (just had foot surgery). And manuals are for sports cars to me. I like my trucks to have auto transmissions because of all tge long distance travel I do.

Manual should be the ONLY option for any type of Truck.

I'm the same way. Trucks are not fun to shift...maybe the years of driving a S2000 ruined me but once you drive a great sports car with an awesome shifter everything else is blah. JMO... To each their own. I do think it's great that Toyota still offers a manual in a truck. I'm afraid they are becoming a very rare breed. Even sports cars are going away from manuals. I learned to drive on a manual and I believe it made me a better all around driver.

And may I add, I lost my right hand in a car accident at 18 but my love for manuals was so great, I learned to shift with my stump and continued to drive manuals for the next 10+ years

Toyota doesn't entertain custom builds very well. You get what they build. Unfortunately they have only scheduled to make a small percent of these trucks in manuals.

If you want a manual that bad you should be willing to compromise on bed length and to some extent on price. A TRD Off Road 4x4 V6 DCSB M/T with no options MSRPs for $32,100. And that is a really well equipped truck! Not bad IMHO.

I'd buy a lowly SR 5 in manual config if it were offered. DC isn't going to cut it, though, as I need to be able to sleep in the bed (I'm just under 6').
