Maybe a POS, but it is my POS, and I think it is the best POS mid size truck option.
In 25 years, when I am ready to buy another, I will see what better options are available.

My 2017 OR has telescoping plus tilt.

Granted the telescoping range isn't huge, but it is there.

Yes, it has both. Up down, in, out. Telescoping wheel. I just went out to verify I wasn't demented. Probably telescopes 1.5". Go release your wheel and pull out and push in on it homes.

ETA: Gatdamn, I sure resisted a "your Mom" joke so hard here.

???.... my 13 TRD OR has tilt and telescopic wheel. And @gpb has it on his 17. I feel like this has been a feature for quite a while.

I fear the day the cost of my mods eclipse the cost of my truck :(

Its barely even exists for telescoping. Has anyone even measured it? Must move out like 1inch tops.

I would definitely not buy again. I just hope Toyota doesn't screw up the next gen 4 runner. That's what I'm waiting to buy

Yes, I would buy again. The main gripe of the 3rd gen seems to always be the automatic transmission, and rightfully so. If a computer is controlling your gearing and shift points, how can you possibly enjoy driving this truck?

Yes, I would buy again, but only with a manual transmission where I control the shifting. When I get in my truck I know how it will perform, every time, and it's a blast.

I know I love my 16 4 runner. I just hope the next 4 runner isn't like the 3rd gen Tacoma.

As long as they don't use the 3.5 and auto trans from the Tacoma it should be fine.

    I don't think they would

4Runner has always had a much higher quality and different demographic

I think Toyota will stay to its roots
