yep Pro or Off Road...found a few within 50 miles that look promising. 20k miles and under $30k. No MT unfortunately but shorter bed and rear diff lockers are definitely selling points!

Update! Drove a 2015 TRDOR DCSB today and loved the way the AT felt as wel as the shorter wheelbase but to be honest, the interior of the 2016 is just soooo much nicer that I couldn't do it. Wait though, all is still right with the world. Made a deal over the phone and tomorrow I'm driving a couple hours to trade my 2016 DCLB SR5 for a DCSB TRD Sport. Both have just under 13k miles. But wait, there's more! Manual trans!!!!! Quicksand, here I come! Thanks for all the help here. Naturally pics will be posted once I have my hands on it.

the deal is done! I wound up a total of $2k exactly out of pocket to make it happen but I am glad I did. The short bed suits my needs so much better and the MT is fantastic! Ordering tires, wheels, and lift this week. So far just some desticker and badging and air dam and nerf removal. Mush to be done!!!

Sounds about right, kbb trade in for a 4WD Sr5 DCLB is $27-31k with those miles at least it was 6 months ago when I tried to off load mine for a 2nd gen pro. The $34k for the sport seems about $2k high, the manual TRD DCSBs actually hold higher resale value than the equivalent TRD DCSB auto . The trade sounds right though, I've said this a hundred times dealers and most buyers wont give a sh*t about your mods, mods are always lost money unless you transfer them to the new truck. At $34k though your better off trying to get close to invoice on a new DCSB TRD MT, should be around $32k.

Whoops missed this. lol. $2k on the trade, plus whatever you spent on your previous lift, wheels, tires, etc. As long as your happy man that's what counts. Good color choice.

I bought the truck with the lift and wheels so I was literally $2k out of pocket all in after mods.

congrats on the trade. truck looks really nice.
i wish quicksand was available on the sports in canada in 2016.

i wish i could trade my auto for a manual. the dummy i am is locked into a lease so that probably kills the idea of an auto to manual trade.
on the good side at least im on a short lease term and wont be stuck with this auto trans for the typical 5-6 year finance term.

I hear ya but if you can figure it out, its worth it. The manual is great and make driving the truck that much more fun. Frankly, I can't believe it all worked out.

FYI, if anyone is in the Columbus, OH area or willing to travel....there is another Sport manual trans in silver with about 20k on it at the sister dealership (Byers Toyota). Guy is asking 32k for it.
