Mine isnt older yet, but when it is, I'll be keeping it. Unless I offload it for a first gen 4runner.

If I could sell my 2006 Tacoma and add my "expendable" savings and come up with enough to buy a 2102-2014 Tacoma outright, I would do it. I hate taking out loans, I hate having debt and I really hate making long-term payments.

Not sure why all the hate for the electronics in the 09+

Compared to my 06 nummi tacoma, my 09 Mexican tacoma with all of its electronic gadgetry outperforms the old tacoma in similar situations.

I love my 2008 SR5... Built at NUMMI. I would. I wouldn't sell mine for another Tacoma. I'd sell it for a 4runner though except I like not having a car payment

I traded my 2011 for the 13. Don't have a good reason other than I wanted a 4x4 instead of the PreRunner although I never had any trouble getting around with the PreRunner. I had a little less than a year and a half to pay and it would have been mine.
I walked in and said I want one that has every single option you can get on it and that's what I got. I love it but now I'm paying on it for a little less than 4 years again.

    Oh well... It's only money

I had a 2008 tacoma a month ago but it got rear ended hard and insurance payed it out which got me into my 2014 tacoma.....

Honestly I love my new tacoma, would have never gotten rid of my 2008 but things happen, with the money I got from insurance I pretty much saw it like a trade in

I'm keeping my 09 until it either completely falls apart or toyota does another buy back due to the frames rusting out.

    ^ This!

I have an 07 and have zero desire to get myself into a 14 and start payments over again. Mine is a NUMMI trucks aswell.

I thought it was pre 09. Didn't they start with most of the electronics starting with 09 MY?

I love my 06 and I will drive it until I total it or i die trying.LOL!!! I do like the look of the new models and the new head units are nice, but I would just replace them with after market anyways so there is no need for that crap. And all the new drive-train features just seam to cause more problems for those of us who mod the hell out of are rigs. Now if they ever add the drive-train from an FJ and a V8 I would be all over it.

I am keeping my 2010 Off Road 4x4... It is the best Tacoma of the three I have had (2001, 2005, 2010)... and nothing against the newer ones, it is only the sucky economy that will probably prevent me from getting a 2015 Tacoma.

My 2010 is 4 years old and has 58,000 miles on it. No problems or failures. Only 'issue' that cropped up a couple months ago is the condensation inside the passenger side headlight area???

My 2010 double cab 4X4 TRD Sport (67,000 miles) is my first Tacoma and with luck, may last longer than I do. I bought her as my retirement truck with the intent of driving her 200,000+ miles. No issues to date. Love the truck...but the new Trundra's are looking pretty sweet.
